As I've mentioned before, who wants to go and watch the other side's players have 65% of the ball? Surely one wants to see one's own team on the ball, knocking it about confidently, creating chances? With Royball one goes to watch the other side.
Something for Steve Parish to ponder when he's trying to fill seats in his shiny new stadium.

I think our football might just about be tolerable if we were nicking wins by the odd goal. But when its combined with a failure to win any games it's painful to watch.

Home matches haven't been that exciting currently. Prices are expensive now too - when I used to think Palace were pretty reasonable. The Liverpool game and the blatant cheating took a lot out of me. Add that to the rubbish we play in general and this is what you get. When we do go ahead no one is confident with the way things are going. You can see it on the players' faces as well as the crowd's.

It is probably more enjoyable to have sessions of colonic irrigation than witnessing our performances.Just 1 home win in 9 games this season has tested the patience of our loyal supporters yet we still hear about Selhurst Park being "A hard place to come to" and that "Special Atmosphere" phooey.

Yes, this it the crux of the matter. But when it has been admitted that Hodgson doesn't coach forward play and therefore doesn't really know how to create goal scoring opportunities, one can look upon his career with extra understanding. He's a one trick pony and his time is up.

He certainly will not be in the 'Hot seat' next season.

Well, our players knock it about fairly confidently, but normally within about 25 yards of our own goal - and as often as not about 10 seconds after being in a vaguely attacking position.

I was there, and I thought it was one of the tamest (for the want of a better word) atmospheres between us.

I don't know if it's because everyone's peed off with what's being served up on the pitch, but it's definitely not helping.

There's not a lot to get excited about.

It also doesn’t help when there’s an unhealthy obsession by some to sing songs aimed at Lewis Dunk for the bast part of 90 minutes rather than singing positive Palace songs!

He'd be a great Defensive Co-ordinator in the NFL
