So one of the supposed favourites for Roys job is to be given the boot within days if not hours

Former Wolves manager ,another previous Palace target Nuno Espirito has flown in for talks

It will never happen as he would not take the humiliating demotion and we would not want to pay the wages, but can to imagine Cooper as our U21 head coach?

Will Steve Parish ditch Roy so he can get Steve Cooper now he’s available or wait till the end of the seasons, when probably Cooper will be employed elsewhere and he will have lost his man ?

As he should.
Cooper appears to be someone unable to motivate players even though the fans appear to like him.
He doesn't do it for me and I would be disappointed to have him join Palace.

My feelings entirely. I just don't get the fascination.

This was Coopers first big job and obviously he didn't get things right.I always feel that the mark of a good manager is to go away and think about what he should have done better.

It would be a mistake for both parties to appoint him now as he would not have that period of reflection.

He certainly motivated them when he took them from bottom of the Championship to promotion in his first season. He was let down by a totally directionless recruitment policy which left him having to work with a bloated squad, only a few of which are actually good enough. At least Palace know what they want with player recruitment.

My thoughts exactly.

We generally go on a loosing run and we need a manager that could dig us out of it. Roy for all his faults can dig us out of a winless and low morale. I can't see the same with hooper.

I loved Vieira but he couldn't get us out of that loosing run.

to the huge number of Roy haters on here.......we will miss him when he is gone. The ONLY manager good enough for Palace ? he must have a long CV with much success. Anything less will be a disaster.
