Listen to today’s press conference he basically said this was a 1 year arrangement. Possibly have a replacement in mind already? I suspect that succession planning is ongoing. Edited by Willo (08 Dec 2023 11.01pm)

As Roy has been a great servant for the club by keeping us in the division for several years I would prefer he resigns maybe after the Liverpool game rather than be sacked. It would not be a good way to end a long & rewarding career.

Neither do I think he will be sacked

Yea , i dont think he is going to do that , if you resign i would imagine its like any other job and you forfeit any bonuses due as you would be the one who broke the contract , i would also assume that he is on a keep us in the premier league bonus of at least a million . He will wait and get sacked as other managers do and get a handsome golden shower sorry handshake

Team played well today and were desperately unlucky. However,a loss is a loss and of major concern this afternoon is that several of our fellow relegation candidates are beginning to show some form and are currently winning.

Neither do I think he will be sacked With the demanding fixtures in December and the injury woes he might be viewed as just the right man, with his vast experience and knowledge of the squad, to steer the ship through 'Pitchy Seas'.
