Yeah I had to send in a hair sample to a lab to be tested. I was skeptical of these, but my fiancee did one to identify trigger foods and the day before she got her results, she was in excruciating pain after having a pizza. Her results stated she has an acute intolerance to rocket, which her pizza was covered in!

Thanks. Nothing dramatic but I just have a sneaky feeling that some foods upset me.

not talking serious, allergies etc.
but what foodstuffs, seasonings, sauces etc are a nightmare for you?
Im getting worse.
I can eat a vindaloo, all ok (bar the arse probs next day) but a butter chicken killed me the other night.
awoke 1am, in misery all night.
cant eat roast lamb or melted cheese much.
Garlic is a huge issue.

I don't have to wait till the next day for vindaloo to do its work - if one is in between pubs on a crawl it can get very dicey. Instant Coffee is a hangover from the 70s and should be criminalised - one sip and I feel all my vitamins die and I get instant dehydration - my toenails start to crumble. And parsley is like pubic hair - both need to be moved to one side so eating can take place.

I did an intolerance test for sh*ts and giggles last year and apparently I have an accute reation to:

Yeast
Lactose
Blue Cheese
Stliton
Whisky

My diet consists mainly of yeast and lactose, so I'm screwed when these finally "kick" in

Whisky gave me really bad stomach pain when I used to drink it, now I understand why and I get incredibly bloated from beer.

It didn't come up in a test but I can't tolerate anything with alcohol sugars in it, so a lot of protein bars and sugar free stuff is out for me. I had 2 protein bars with maltitol in it, without realising and was farting/on the toilet for most of the day

Alcohol sugars are not suppose to be tolerated this is the point of them really in and out.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the tests either these can not tell you state of gut health which is what alot of this comes down to.

Lactose so many people claim to have issues but when you give them unprocessed raw milk for example they have no issues.

Maltitol is nasty stuff this is common as sugar replacement because its very cheap and can tolerate high temps but really for some people they react the same as if they have had sugar.

Which other ones have you tried i suggest t people if they do try them stick to more natural ones monk fruit etc.

Waste of money

If you want to pay for tests gene testing from a legit place is better.

I'm type 2 diabetic if I eat sugar -- I don't so I keep my 'number' down below the type 2 threshold. So I looked up which artificial sweetener would be best - f*ck me the cr*p they dish out - when you look at the chemical description, who produces the stuff and the testing any sane person wouldn't go near this stuff - one commercial sweetener has the carbon atoms replaced by chlorine atoms in the glucose molecule using nano-technology- no thanks! I ues this Xylitol from wood and plants - same intensity as sugar, not 600 or 6000 times sweeter than sugar. Bit of a bitter after taste but it works in certain things - banana cakes and drinking chocolate, but is ghastly on porridge, alright in coffee but I don't take sugar any way.

Ideally you do not want to use any daily all of them have negatives.

If a person does want them daily these are the top three I stil advise against these daily (If a person can tolerate them)

Stevia
Monk Fruit
Erythritol

You say you do not take sugar in anyway yet list foods which are high in carbs (This is the area people have been mislead and large % of diabetics do not understand carbs = sugar because they are lied to with claims about good vs bad etc)
