Indeed, when it looked like we were losing Michael Olise' to Chelski, obviously we were upset at the prospect of losing him but what grated even more was at the time it looked like we were going to be losing him for well below market price ( release clause on his contract)

I can only imagine that the combination of salary increases for those players that have proven themselves to be capable of a higher level on the one hand, and the less successful, yet still costly player acquisitions on the other, will mean the sale of a number of our better players to balance the books over the coming seasons.
It's a new area for Parish, making a profit on sales whilst having a strong scouting operation in place to find the next set of players. Other clubs manage it.
