I would chalk that performance down to wrong occasion against the wrong team at the wrong time. His first short cameo was better than that and I think he was overawed to be thrown on with two other youngsters and expected to change the game.

I agree it took both Olise and Eze some time to get up to speed with the PL and you have to hope that what scouts gave seen in him is a better sign for the future than what we have seen to date.

Personally I’d have used the money to buy Sarr or Hudson Odoi or Clarke, but we are where we are and have to hope we got it right.
