His last game was in 1973 at Chelsea, it was on the big match revisited on itv4 not so long ago. I think it’s still available to download He was just before my time of going to games so I never see him live, but from all the footage I’ve seen over the years, it amazed me how hard he could hit those old leather balls, he scored some screamers that’s for sure RIP

In fact he played at Selhurst Park in September 74 for PNE.

We won 2-0 (Sunday game during 3 day week) but both teams were relegated.
