RIP,

Actress maybe more famous for playing Alex in 'Drop The Dead Donkey' from the 90's

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

That’s a shame, a recognisable actress who’s been in loads of stuff over the years, I remember her playing a rather fit cougar in the comedy ‘uncle’

RIP

And also a couple of appearances in Lovejoy (one of my favs)

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

She was stuck in my memory for having played a senior police officer in a show called 'Merseybeat' when female senior officers were quite rare. When she cropped up numerous times subsequently, she was always, to Mrs YT and me, "the one who was the senior police officer"; most recently referenced in 'The Crown'. A very good actress.
