My old company in the news again.

Actually this is a better example of reputational damage. She has been fired for a social media post in her own time.

So next time a public figure / celeb tweets something offensive and people say you can't sack them because it wasn't in work....

Gary Linkeker for example has never done anything as nasty but he does needs to understand that as an employee of the BBC his actions reflect on the corporation, he is not an island.

FYI
The people slagging off Citi (before they fired her) obviously don't know their history.

I have said before that Citi always seems to be involved in financial scandals however there is one area where they can hold their head up high.

During the 1930's British and Americans banks did business with the Nazis which they would like to forget. The one major bank that refused to have anything to down the them was Citi which was a Jewish owned bank at the time.

Once the post became known this lady was always going to be fired .

Daily Mail strong supporters, too, and funded Mussolini. 'Hurrah for the blackshirts' is one headline of the time.

No doubt that this is all in the past and bears no relevance to the present.
