Does anyone really care now?

Seems people have become used to the disruption and have work arounds.

ASLEF General Secretary has an annual remuneration in excess of 150K so he's alright Jack

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

For sure the train strikes now don't have the effects on peoples lives that they used to have, a lot of the work arounds probably originated from the covid / lockdown era, that being said they are still damned inconvenient as far as attending live events.

I think that is why they have switched to weekend strikes they know people can WFH but you don't have a work around for a football match / concert / live event.

They lost my sympathy decades ago driverless trains are not that far away.
