We won't see the woods for the trees. Chris Woods started his career at Forest. His only appearances for the club were in the League Cup of 1977/78, playing in every round including the final because Peter Shilton was cup-tied. He duly collected a winners' medal. The following season he won a European Cup winners' medal despite not playing in any competitive match all season.

What does it feel like to be optimistic? I feel it so rarely before Palace games. All I can see is 0-1. More beer! My glass is half empty.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

All depends if Forest come to park the bus themselves, looking for the point, or see that we are weakened by injuries to some key players and decide to go for it, in which case they'll fall for Roy's cunning counterattack plan.

With Ward and Doucoure now injured I think a draw will be a satisfactory result. Thank god for the international break for all the players. Just praying Guehi and Anderson get through this period with no injuries. Time for Clyne, JRS, Jairo to step up and show us what they can do. Best and only chance they will probably get..
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

With all the injuries and the fact that we rarely get a win against Forrest I am expecting a defeat. 1-2 .COYP

I’m going 1-1. I think it’ll be an attritional, battling game with both teams grafting themselves a goal and an unspoken, mutual settling for a point a piece.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

With the exception of the centre backs this is essentially an average championship side….a draw will be a good result…optimistically 0 0
