Andersen goal was majestic. Fantastic strike. Nearly broke the net.

Its got 1-0 Palace written all over it, MU 27 shots, CP 1, probably a header from our only corner.

Not a bad prediction.

Willo has gone very quiet despite attending the excellent win on Saturday.
I wonder if he's planning a coup to be the next Tory leader so is busy plotting.

I shall be in attendance at the game and then staying over in Manchester for the Conservative Party conference which commences tomorrow.

Apropos the game, I am not infused with confidence that we will actually attain any points.

" You of little faith"said the great man.

Many, including Willow and myself had little hope in getting a point here, let alone all three!!

In Croydon Roy,we trust.

Reports suggest he was unable to attend the conference having 'Erupted akin to Vesuvius with rapture and rhapsody but succumbing to his ebullience and disbelief at final whistle, being taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary' where he is being treated for 'shock'.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Tactically Hodgson is nothing if not predictable, so I am expecting a backs to the wall park the bus effort aiming to negate United's attacking threat. That said, United will make the breakthrough and Palace won't respond, fearful of the counter attack and being under instruction to keep the goals against tally to a minimum. Nevertheless, another couple of United goals will follow aided by Palace's passivity and inability to defend a set piece, and on 85 minutes Roy will look at Ray, hoping for some inspiration, and Ray will just shrug his shoulders as if to say, "What are we doing here?" Roy will then make a double substitution.
The fullbacks will be targeted.

Tactically Hodgson is nothing if not predictable, so I am expecting a backs to the wall park the bus effort aiming to negate United's attacking threat. That achieved, Palace will score a cracking first half goal from which United, despite their best efforts, will not be able to match. On 85 minutes Roy will look at Ray, and wink, knowing that the earlier cup game was just a warm up for the real deal. Roy will then make a double substitution.
The fullbacks will be targeted.

Tony Cascarino's Team of the Week in today's Times
includes 3 Palace players:
Andersen, Mitchell and Eze.

Unusual to have 3 players from the one team.

And perhaps the 'Mitchell-baiters' on here saying he is not up to standard or useless will take note ?
