SSN used to be free to air. The only things worth watching was the Saturday afternoon show with Geoff and Transfer deadline day twice a year. Sky used it to advertise their premium channels which was fair enough. I stopped watching when they decided that SSN was itself a premium channel, you must be joking.

Trouble is that went down hill years ago as well, the first few years with Lovejoy and Helen were very good, but I’ve tried to watch it many a time in recent years for old times sake before they scrapped it and it was just painful to watch and long over due scrapping
