I guess a lot more black folks will be safe from shooting or stabbing now then. I've never met a demonstrator carrying a rifle or automatic weapon to a demo but that doesn't mean there aren't any. One, famously, even carried a bow and arrow, for God's sake. I've never met someone who is prepared to kill others who they disagree with. I've never met anyone who feels the need to kill others on political grounds. They exist, though, don't worry about that. Edited by Glazier#1 (02 Sep 2023 12.30pm)

Maybe not but nothing against storming a building in an attempt to overthrow a democratic election result. Premeditated and organised, too. This behaviour is acceptable to you?

Very few wear robes and burn crosses. Even fewer in public. There are though many white supremacists among us. Some are in the closet. Others unaware that their attitudes mean they fit that description. That other communities also have issues which need attention is no reason to deny this one. One which, despite your own experience, is regarded by the security forces as significant and urgent. They ought to know. Many non-white supremacists wear robes and burn crosses and bibles openly in public. Edited by georgenorman (02 Sep 2023 2.08pm)

It wasn’t exactly ever going to roll as a take over. The USA has the biggest police and army in the west. ‘Real’ terrorists who plot and scheme to kill us get less !

The sentences are seen as a deterrent, for sure.

So hardly 'illegal'. What was illegal was the events that took place. Anyone can see that, surely.

Edited by Glazier#1 (02 Sep 2023 12.30pm) Just go to Southall, Slough, Bradford, Blackburn, Moss Side, most of Birmingham, Wolverhampton - you'll see loads quite open about it.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

It is very relevant to the subject. You pretend that there is some massive white supremacist problem, the reality is quite the opposite.
