Schluppy is a better LB, just saying.

WAS a better LB is probably the case IMO - not so sure now. As for Jairo, he was very good when he played LB when PvA was injured and Roy used him as emergency cover. I know he wants to play midfield but that ship has sailed for him at Palace given our current resources.

ON a separate midfield note, I do wonder whether the Brondby game has shown up Hughes's limitations and why he hasn't been a regular first choice in the past.

Never really rated Schlupp anywhere to be honest, certainly not left back and I’m not exactly a massive Reidewald fan either, but I thought it was a good call giving him a go at left back again because I remember that’s the best I’ve seen him play

I thought Mitchell was so poor at times last season, this could be a good call actually, worth a go anyway

Agreed

Every time he starts a game it shows up his limitations . Decent enough player in spells but you just know he will 'switch off' at some point ,lose concentration , let his man go and leave the defence exposed . Its why the last two managers have put their faith in Schulpp in CM which in itself has cried out for an upgrade in that position . Hopefully Lerma fits the bill .
