I find it terribly sad that the parents cannot accept the evidence of specialists who confirm that this was a first time, unpredictable medical episode for the driver, but expect her to be punished for something she had no knowledge of or control over. I suppose it's the usual 'somebody has to be to blame' by people who can't cope without it. Hopefully, the inquests will help to bring them closure.

Unless they have evidence to the contrary this was an awful unforeseen accident, she will automatically lose her licence and will have to re-apply for it assuming she even wants to drive. I was staggered when I heard this on last night's news. And then the BBC gave the parents' lawyer air time to say it all over again.
