Dear Crystal Palace Supporters'

My name is Ciara and I’m a member of the casting team at The Real Story Network. We are working on an exciting campaign with the team at NOW TV to celebrate the start of the Premier League 23/24 season. NOW TV are looking for VIDEOS and PHOTOS from UK based fans from previous Premier League seasons. We want to see the moments of excitement, anticipation and even disappointment that football fans experience in this campaign that will be made up of fans' own phone footage.

We came across Crystal Palace Supporters' while doing our research and we thought you or someone you know might be interested. We are paying £1000 for videos and £250 for photos that feature in the final edit.

The team at NOW TV have asked us to help them find some very specific shots to help them show the full breadth of fan experience so wanted to get in touch to see if this is something you might have on your phone?

We want to see -
Videos and pictures of people wearing their football kit / team colours - we are looking for groups of friends, families, singles and couples - all genders, ages and ethnicities.
Moments of genuine emotion - joy, excitement/anticipation & crushing disappointment!
Videos filmed on the street, on public transport, in the back garden, at home, in pubs or social clubs or at work
Fans watching Premier League football on devices - TV, laptop, ipads, phones
Fan celebrations

We want to feature clubs in the 2023/24 Premier League - we are not looking for lower division clubs or International football at this point.

Fees / information:
Fans whose clips feature in the final edit (broadcast, social/digital platforms) will be paid £1000. Fans whose photos feature in the final edit will be paid £250. NOW TV/SKY will retain exclusive use of the clip in any and all campaigns in perpetuity. Use of clip in edit will be subject to a background check by the team at NOW TV.

***Please send your tapes via WeTransfer / Dropbox to footballcasting@realstorynetwork.com by no later than 9.30am Thursday 6th July (though sooner is even better!) ***

As someone who works in the television industry I wouldn't agree to that (unless you're in desperate need of £1k). If you feature in that segment then you give over all rights of your likeness in that video to Sky to use as they see fit. At the very least I would ask for a materials release form to review before you sign away your rights.
