Exactly my thinking.

I don't think Chelsea were the perfect fit for him (not saying we'd be either) but I'd suggest he's still a fantastic player thus will probably have far more fancy suitors than us (if we can even afford him).

The only way I see it happening is if he wants to stay at Chelsea, they feel the same, and with us as a tried and tested loan location for their players, and him being able to stay in London, a deal suitable for all can be achieved.

Seems a long shot at best but I'd welcome it.
