Instead of Sky paying for TV rights, it would be the Saudi League paying Sky to show the matches. However, I get the feeling Bein sports are Saudi.

BeIN is part of a Qatari media group.

Yes, G. Neville took the Qatari shilling from BeIN during the World Cup, admirably overcoming his own moral principles so to do.

Qatar & Saudi do not like each other, bit like most neighbours but more so.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

It already looks like going the way of the MLS or the Chinese Super League. No one, including the home fans, seem to give two f***s about it. And in potential TV audience places like Europe and USA most fans are openly hostile to it. James Tomkins will be there, taking the place of Neymar in two seasons.

AI will change a lot. Football will not be excluded.
I know loads of youngsters who know way more than me about other country leagues and their players. Yet they hardly ever go to a game. Two minutes on their mobile once a day seems to be their attention span.
If that really is the case, AI will produce the fans. Gate receipts are a fraction of total revenue of big clubs these days. Less than 10% in most top cases.
The Arabs will keep nudging in. Before long they will secure more top players and become key players in world football.
