So in conclusion, all of the incremental spend is going on the front line and we're not spending a penny in defence.

I was imbibing a delightful beer in a Public House garden the other night when I received a text message from some learned gentleman stating about the contract offer and I immediately dismissed it as some jolly josh !

I can assure you that Dazza and I are not one and the same person.
Dazza has asserted that he is not 'In the know' in the accepted sense and was just communicating information from a plethora of sources.

Yes, but if my memory serves me right, the money we received for AWB went to pay off loans - it certainly wasn't reinvested in the squad during Mr Hodgson's time, although the money for Eze must have come from somewhere.

Its a gamble worth taking I guess that Ferguson and Richards can supplement the existing back line - but based upon their injury record, it is a very optimistic view and presumably the medical staff have voiced a supporting opinion on this. I would feel bad if Ferguson was cast adrift - must be so challenging for him, but then again he might just come through all this adversity with a new found strength, just like Eze has.
