The covering up of abuse by those who knew is as bad as the crimes the committed, there is a massive connection between. I think it is sad when such a well known figure falls from grace in such a sordid way. I certainly don't celebrate his death. His punishment was to have all he was stripped from him. That is a big deal for someone like that. He brought it on himself with the shameful arrogance of a man who thought he could abuse young people for his own sexual needs. I'm sure people like him were highlighted as a smokescreen for paedophiles among the ruling classes.
