Wrexham have outspent everybody in that division they will now have to compete at a higher level. The PR dept has done a fantastic job but the higher they go up the ladder the tougher it will be to outspend other clubs.

I’m glad they’re back in the FL, they’re one of my 92 visited back in the day, hope Notts County make it as well for the same reason, if Bromley don’t do it of course

In general though, teams from that division do okay when they get promoted, with most teams being full time professional in the national league there’s not a lot of difference these days to league two or division 4 as us olduns know it

Decent social club at the bus garage made for some good pre match sessions . David Kemp scored a rare (in those days) overhead kick in a 3-0 win on one outing and of course who can forget that night in May 1977 .

I didn’t actually mean I did the 92, it’s just it’s a club I’ve been to out of the 92, it’s hard to keep track now with two teams going up and down. When it was a closed shop back in the day and I was a regular away tripper I think I was up approaching 70 but have since lost a lot getting relegated to non-league I did Wrexham in 1981, Steve Lovell scored the only goal of the game
