Not sure Crooks can see the action too well through the bottom of a pint glass. Lawrenson’s predictions have Liverpool on a 4 season unbeaten streak. He has Palace 17th on 25 points. So just the 15 points adrift. The best one is Bournemouth - he has them bottom with 8 points! 31 points adrift. If you think Sutton is unpopular on here you should read their forum! Stealing a living is their name for him.

Now Chris Sutton says we will draw 1-1 because....wait for it... we have won 3 in a row so a fourth is unlikely. Anyone want to know what the odds of heads or tails are on an individual coin throw compared to the odds of a sequence of results if you throw a coin four times? What on earth are these people paid for? We may win, we may lose, we may draw but I can tell you it isn't because we just won three. Having just won three makes it more likely we win a fourth because, well, that's football. What a pr**k. In the last days of Vieira, when we were at our most hopeless, many were starting to suggest Palace might be in real danger. Chris Sutton categorically stated that Palace would not go down. Of the 9 teams at the bottom, who at that point were split by 4 points or something stupid, he described us as the most likely to pull clear.

Did he base this on our sacking of Vieira and installment of Roy Hodgson?
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I think people get waaay too worked up about people expressing an honest opinion. I mean, a one goal defeat to Spurs isn't exactly out of realms of possibility. I recall one of our most dire performances this season was against them. It's easy to criticise the predictions of others when you don't have to commit your own opinions to scrutiny. For example, in the case of predicting results for 20 different teams, every single week. If it was easy to do, we would all be taking money from the bookies each week. What I did find amusing, is apparently somewhere on BBC they've compiled a PL table based on all the pundits predictions. And Chris Sutton had Bournemouth on 8 points, or something like that. While he might have predicted Bournemouth to come bottom, I doubt he would have said they'd get the lowest points total ever. But on a game to game basis, it's not unreasonable to assume they'd lose most. On the flip of that, if you asked me each week to predict a Manchester City score, I'd probably put them down to win pretty much every single time. But I would never expect them to win 38 from 38, because nothing ever works out like that.

Crooks is once again going on about Vieira. Ummmm… he wasn’t starting Eze… It’s laughable how tired and predictable he is.

You should put Crooks together with Sutton in the headline. Thinks Crook picks Eze for his Team of the Week so he can have a go at Palace. And tell us how stupid we were to sack Vieira.

Sutton has us down for a 2-0 win tomorrow. Hope he's got that one right.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
