Starmer looks more open to a deal with the libdems, progress. They clearly have the edge on Europe, the environment, the electoral system. Personally I think Labour must reset Britain as Attlee did. Only a revolution would satisfy me, so it looks like the greens again.

The economy is in a complete mess - the impacts of Brexit, no growth, and lack of skilled employees in certain sectors etc. This is down to the Tories. Who was it who said fcuk business? The blonde haired t***, in case that wasn't reported in the Sun I Everyone on the Left seems to have conveniently forgotten about the cost of the pandemic, the war and lazy public sector workers striking when half of them don't even go to work!

Is the economy really that bad? All I know is almost every company is moaning about lack of staff. Prices seem to be coming down in the shops. Everybody I know who is working seem to be moaning because they keep on being offered overtime. The Bank of England put up interest rates again because they want to actually slow the economy down not to buck it up. And surprise surpose, the offical forecasts for the economy have just been revised upwards. Again. I get why the UK might feel as though it is in the economic doldrums but the actual data seems to not back that narrative up

Plainly the economy is not for, and doesn't work for, so many people.

Labour supporting the governments rent bill? It's rubbish, a 20% rent increase is eviction in another name. 'Want to fix the housing crisis? Build new council homes, introduce rent caps and end the scourge of empty homes. We need housing for public good, not private profit'. Jeremy Corbyn speaking today.

I think one council house should have been built for every one sold. But it didn't happen. Labour's house building numbers under Blair were terrible, much worse than the Conservative numbers but it doesn't really matter when both were inadequate. It was Blair's open borders that poured petrol on the fire. Now it's a huge problem after decades of neglect from all governments

Keir, clearly not affected by the cost of living crisis,is putting on more weight recently and should be concentrating on getting his facts right instead of stuffing his face.
