I thought this thread was going to be about the OXFAM statement yesterday that apologised for having it in English, as it is the language of a colonial nation and then went on to say that they won’t be using the term ‘pregnant woman’ anymore or some other equally “offensive “ terms!

The PC under current is alarming. There is a very popular Jamacian Baker in Thornton Heath High Street that I have used with lots of enjoyment. One evening I was trying to place it for an intended visit (best bus stop etc.) Due to the shutters being down I kept overlooking it. Solution - ask a chap with dreadlocks, and receive love and care. Sadly, I then questioned myself - had I been racist?
