I hear what you say Brinscall, but I feel PV's failure to give any striker a sustained run, and some of his other decision-making, has also badly affected the confidence of some players, like Edouard (who, maybe naively, I still think has potential), and particularly Eze (not a striker I know, but an under-fulfilled talent). I do feel we simply aren't creating enough for the front players. Anyway, we both hope for improvement and safety, and let's hope that whatever decisions are made by the board (PV to stay or PV to go) deliver for us.

There is a complete lack of basic coaching .... and as even the tv commentator noted, when Mateta came on and we were crossing in to the box, Mateta ran to the near post instead of the far post - FFS, this is basic schoolboy football! It is beyond belief that PV and the current coaching still still have their jobs, but then I guess those in charge don't know the basics either? Presumably Shaun Derry might have understood this, so he was fired.

I dunno some of the worlds top strikers have made their careers with near post runs . One of my main complaints of our strikers is that they hide on the back post ,Benteke was a master of it in his last couple of seasons with us .
