Doucoure was a liability v Villa. Before he was belatedly booked for the first time he had been allowed to get away with numerous fouls. For a supposedly experienced player to then get a second yellow within 5 minutes was appalling. Actually he was lucky it was just a 2nd yellow as he kicked the Villa player halfway up the shin which is violent conduct and should have been a straight red. The way he was playing / fouling, surely Viara could and should have removed him from the game before the inevitable 2nd booking.
As an aside from Doucoure, having watched all but one of our games this season, surely this was the game where we committed the most number of fouls. We certainly weren't pretty!

Yes it was a poor performance. Don't know whether he was exposed through lack of pace or just running on empty and needs a break? Maybe Ahamada and Lokonga could step up for a few games? Problem is Palace agave far too few experienced player with pace

Another player who has gone backwards is Mitchell. I like the look of Richards and he has some pace. Time for a change at the back me thinks
