Where do most people drink before the game?

Not been for a few years, drank in the Witton Arms which is near the away turnstiles

Used to be one of the roughest places back in the day. I presume it's not like it anymore. Not quite as bad as Birmingham City. In my mind, they're both close to the train station. You should be able to drink centrally enough and get a bus or even walk. But that is my memory from over twenty years ago - so not necessarily correct.

closest to the ground is the Aston tavern which is on the Holte End side of the ground. You have to pay in (they stamp back of your hand and you get a free burger (or something) and then don't have to pay if you go back at the end of the game). Decent enough.

Bit further away is the barton Arms. About a 20-25 minute walk to the ground. Again, decent.

Then there's Villa tavern, Sacred Heart club but a bit of a walk afterwards (30 mins or so). The city centre is an option and then train to the ground (only one or two stops).

Wearing colours isn't an issue. Especially if you decide to wear your proper colours from 40 odd years ago...
