Did Edouard even touch the ball yesterday? He had one shot where he was so slow that it was easily blocked. All I can remember - I hope someone will buy him end of season. He seems just rubbish.

So there i was, sitting on my sofa, watching sky sports news as all the other games were finishing you just knew what was coming.Geoff appeared and then it happened.I laughed, shrugged my shoulders and went out.It does not come as a surprise anymore, infact,i am now more surprised if we score first and see out the win.Oh well,i guess thats why we are where we are.

I understand your frustration but I just add , although last season “seemed” better than this one , we are still 1 point better off than after 23 games last season and having played Newcastle Man Utd and Chelsea twice already, seems mad but that’s a fact and does bring this season into a bit of perspective

With Mitchell and Zaha possibly out I would try something different as we’ve got nothing to lose. I’d play Schlupp left wing back and Ayew right wing back and play Richards, Guehi, Anderson in a back 3. I’d put Doucoure and Lokonga in the middle and Eze, Edouard and Olise playing a fluid 3 up top in attack with Eze, Olise dropping back to midfield when defending. Bit different, but might be worth a go. I like the idea of a fluid front 3 and something I’ve been mulling over for a while In fact I’d take it a stage further IMO neither Mateta or Edouard are good enough - on the latter I still think there’s a player there but for what ever reason it ain’t working out. Ayew forget it - what is it now 5 goals in his last 87 games - for a forward player that’s atrocious- no wonder he always looks to have the hump..!! So if everyone were fit I’d go Zaha, Eze and Olise in a fluid front 3 - on the basis that they are our most likely source of goals. Beyond that we haven’t had a fully fit squad to chose from this season and central midfield options were thin pre the January window. So assuming everyone fit I’d go Guaita If that team is available and played going forward IMO our relegation worries and fears will quickly become a distant memory - in addition will be exciting to watch..!! Them is my thoughts..!! COYP

I like that, i would have McArthur, if fit, instead of Lokonga McArthurs days of starting are over, he is 35 and been out injured for a longtime. Lokonga is young and athletic with a point to prove to establish himself as a Premier player, he did ok yesterday.

So End of season review ; Squad player ; McArthur / Clyne / Still in team : Andersen / Richards / Guehi / Mitchell End of season is another major overhaul to be able to compete ! To be able to aim above position 10 Let’s be honest our strikers are just not good enough for Prem I’m not being negative just very honest week in week out

Taking a more optimistic view We are just about weathering a very tricky run of games, with a point return to keep us out of trouble. The performance against Brighton was horrid, but to give credit, we've gone to bang in form team and played well. I think we were the better team, but a draw wasn't a completely unfair result. So it feels a bit sh1t, but there are some positive signs there. Plus Anderson is back, Wilf nearing a return and great to see Olise and Eze combining.
