I know we have bigger fish to fry but something I noticed… 1) We always kick off towards the Whitehorse lane stand? Noticed the Liverpool/Everton match tonight switching ends before kick off. Have we done away with the coin toss for who attacks which end first? 2) After Tomkins goal on Saturday there was no announcement from Mike the stadium

Brendan Rodgers knows we like to kick towards the Holmesdale in the second half, that's why when Leicester win the toss at SP they always make us change ends so we kick towards the Whitehorse end in the second half.

I lol'd because that was genuinely what I did (I think the Sanchez error had me waiting for a whistle/flag anyway)! That and, you know, I wasn't expecting a goal at all.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I believe the coin-toss still happens but most allow home team to pick anyway (with the undertanding being that if we win the toss away, we pay them the same respect). So it's not just 50/50, the away team has to firstly win, then they have to be petty enough to make us change. It's definitely happened this season a couple of times though so I believe the toss is still thing. Second point, I truly believe everyone knew just how fortunate we were and didn't want to jinx anything with Glad all Over because by that point Brighton should've been 3 up and they could've punished us had we sang our song haha. There are certain games where we're losing but then come back punching like Rocky, when this happens the music is justified and helps. In this case, we literally needed the oppo goalkeeper to throw the ball on Tomkins head otherwise we weren't going to register a shot on target against our biggest rivals at home. Charmed life.
