There may be something in the foul stat. Less so with Zaha, but definitely with Ayew, he's technically really good and will always hold onto the ball vs passing. So it stands to reason that he will get caught more than many. Great in some situations, but on the whole I'd rather have someone wo makes the pass as soon as possible. Brighton ripped us apart at will yesterday, and I cant remember any of them attempting and 1-on-1s or long dribbles. Its all pass and move.

The distance covered is really alarming, regardless of ability, its the bare minimum you can offer. Connor is a miss individually, but watching one of your team mates tear around does help lift everyone.

There has been mention of how much we have been missing Gallagher and MacArthur, some opining that their loss has been the main reason why we are failing to deliver.

Brighton have lost, Cucurella,Bissouma, Trossard and Maupay from last season, of their signings in the 'Windows' onlu 1 played yesterday, Estupinan, and they were a class above us.They are a team we are a shambles at present.
