In contrast to which, I give you Glenn Murray. Mullery wasn't accepted because of the coins and the basic, simple fact that he was a w***er. His bad "relationship" with us was personal, not simply that he managed Brighton. That isn't the case with Potter. I'm not saying I'd want Potter here. Not at all sure about that. But I don't think your reasoning is relevant. Yes, but to be fair; how many other famous ex-Palace managers have actually been to Rome to see the Pope?
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Potter would not have the budget to get new players as he did at Brighton. But he wouldn’t be it be the worst appointment.

The Net Spend during Potter's 3 seasons at Brighton was a total of around £65 Mill which is not gargantuan in PL terms. In the 2 seasons prior to his arrival, Brighton's Net Spend was a total of around £125 Mill. Edited by Willo (12 Jan 2023 7.18pm)

I’m sure all Brighton fans would be bursting with rage if Potter was installed as Palace manager………But it would be very funny. I dunno, I reckon they would enjoy seeing him fail as he just wouldn't have it as cushty at Palace like he hasn't got it cushty at Chelski...
