My mother-in-law has a new job at The Red Cross They have asked her to pose for disaster photos. Returning to bygone days, I recall that time before mobile phones existed when supporters, at the end of the game, used to follow someone who had a transistor radio which was broadcasting the final scores. Interstellar is off the page I think. Even if it's a practical possibility, it would be be a long way off. I think we will make a concerted effort to settle in nearby planets. If Musk lives long enough and the US establishment don't destroy him private companies like him and Bezos will lead that. We might see the Chinese and East Asians taking more of a lead as Europeans diminish. It's all related to economics and the world is becoming more unstable not less.
