So how do you stop spurious legal claims by ambulance chasing lawyers who if a celebrity is involved don't care about the legitimacy of the claim do it for the publicity. Or they sue a council knowing it is cheaper for the council to settle than go to court. My suggestion is judge looks at case and decides evidence is weak so tells shyster lawyer if they continue they will be a co defendant and if celeb wins they are on the hook for damages. People are entitled to justice and should not be priced out of their day in court otherwise justice is for the rich.

Agree 100%, contingent fees are a terrible idea which add to cost to everything

I still think the Junior Doctors strike is politically motivated and will be settled quickly once Labour are in, however this is really poor management.

There is some low hanging fruit for Streeting ( no pun intended ), He has some good ideas around the rotas which have been successfully trialled past couple of years. Still think there is a lot of uncosted money to be found to settle JD strike in next parliament Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Nothing to do with a real terms pay cut around 25% in the last 15 years, obviously. Some are even moving to the other side of the world to really sell their plight and motivate people to vote Labour.

Nothing to do with a real terms pay cut around 25% in the last 15 years, obviously.

Some are even moving to the other side of the world to really sell their plight and motivate people to vote Labour.
