Following the inevitable England let down but hopefully a lovely Xmas to come for you all, I thought I'd propose what, for me anyways, seems a ludicrous yet not impossible, hypothetical scenario:

- Palace beat Fulham boxing day
- Tottenham beat Brentford

Result: Palace in a single digit position with a game in hand on everyone below bar Leeds.

Might not be all correct there, I was under the impression an unlikely BHA loss against S'ton would boost us another place too but nonetheless a shift of focus to the primary love and what could shape up to be a Happy New Year! No real hope for January TW however once again you never know!
