I’m expecting us to ‘win the second half’ today. Provided the first 45 do not go horribly, you know, us expecting to stroll it and score in first gear whilst they run around like lunatics pressuring us into gifting them one or two goals, I think we should emerge victorious. A loss will be very disappointing, a draw will suffice of course however a win will really be inspiring, anxiety reducing and mitigate the inevitable disappointment with the World Cup for me. COYP!!!!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I'm usually nervous before most palace games... and even more nervous when I have a slight sense of optimism haha Just hope we can put in a decent performance and keep our recent form going to go into the WC break feeling positive. I think Forest will come out full pace trying to pressure us which we normally struggle against but hopefully we'll have learnt a few lessons from this type of approach 1st half Leeds, full match Everton. Andersen pinging diagonal balls earlier is one good way to negate the press as is pairing another passer with Doucouré I.e Hughes. Let's see what unfolds. COYP
