There was no doubt this was Palace at their best, we looked like the home team for most of the game , and if we had not found that late goal, we could only have felt we robbed ourselves.
But your right W Ham did not shut the Palace mid field down at all, in fact you will rarely see ,Eze, Olise, or Shlupp, with so much time and space. Don’t think you are knocking it , and I certainly ain’t but not many sides will stand off us like that. So we take it for what it is a one off three lovely points.

Absolutley right, mate.

The Olympic Stadium is a lucky stadium for us in the last 4 years , won twice and drawn twice.
Whilst we played well on Sunday, we are still an evolving team in the second season of a totally new style of play. It’s not going to be the same every week, as there are a lot of young players in the team, consistency is needed every week. The problem will come with injuries, as back up players are nowhere near the ability of regular starting team.

I agree wholeheartedly. We need some proper back up in the window of good quality (easily said, I know).

Left back cover.
Steely midfielder
Centre half cover
Goalscorer

Yes I agree, although I do no believe we will go for a striker in January
Midfielder and CH cover must be our priority

Yup: MidF, CH cover and LB cover come first.

Apart from the winning goal my favourite part of the game was when Clyney got in behind them and set up Ebs for a shot. That was the brilliant Nat Clyne of years ago

Clyne has looked pretty good this season. A bit more confidence in his game for sure.

what i particularly liked on Sunday was that PV clearly told the front 3 to stay forward and ensure we had options. In the 94th Eze looks up and has 3 options available to him.
It won't always work but you need players upfield if you want to score.

Yes, true but the priority must LB cover. We do, at least have cover with Clyne and Ward, whatever their merits, don't you agree?

Haha.

I suppose we do have cover for our strikers in Mats and Odsonne, but the other three mentioned are a top priority, wouldn't you agree? It reflects the lack of business during last summer's window which will come back to bite us if we get a run of injuries.
