I don’t think Guardiola, would have answered that question any differently about his team , in fact I’m pretty sure without checking he is never satisfied City can’t improve.
Does anyone think Palace can’t improve? And we ain’t City yet . So why would PV?
Palace have great potential that’s all, and any coach is not going to let a young side as they are believe otherwise when the gap is still wide in the long term. If this team was to think it had arrived the foots going to come off the peddle.

Palace are short of 2 top players imo.

I think PV has said as much.

We have nobody on loan and Connor and Kouyate left if we could return to that sort of strength.

It is a long haul, 28 games to go and as PV and others have said it is a very tough place, no Norwich or Watford to pick up easy points.

PV cannot get a team going simple as that... I expected a warrior of manager from him that would use this gifted team to its strengths.
for me most the games this season have beeb below par with little to no leadership.

I'm not sure he watches the same team as us. If he did, he'd have realised the full backs are targeted every game when playing out as they're s*** on the ball and always give it away and we're being absolutely killed by what he's doing with the midfield this season with the lack of a ball player next to the 6. Add to that letting teams play themselves into the game and getting the crowd behind them and the joke that is our pressing and I am having my doubts about his judgement

He is trying to make bricks without clay

I just do not get it that PV continues with same-same, a midfielder himself of diamond class.

Correct
All the managers that have kept us in the Premier league have laid the foundations of a solid back four and system to keep us up.
Talking Pulis , Sam , Roy who all with the benefit of a Gallagher playing like he did for us last Season would have finished even higher in the table than they did.
Patrick needs to solidify and how to play without a top class Gallagher, and soon.

On Stamford Bridge yesterday manager Potter pulled off Chelsea defender Cucurella after only 35 minutes, due to the fact that they were getting overrun in the middle of the park. And it worked - wish we had an offensive manager like that.
