Ian Wright Kevin Mabbutt/Dougie

A few really underrated players on my list -

George Wood, a great goalie for years, although probably stayed 1 year too long
Kevin Taylor - a quality midfielder
Andy Gray - on his day a powerhouse
Doris - RIP
Kevin Mabbutt - great talent, career ruined by injuries
Dougie - partly for Stockport!!

I’ve got Kevin ‘Ticker’ Taylor on my list, never one of the best of all time, but I really liked him at the time, he had a good engine as they say, covered every blade of grass, hence his nickname.

I loved Taylor. I thought he had a good pass on him, was busy and as you say worked hard. A good eye for a goal too.

I like those players who outperformed at a time when we didn't have the best of teams, and i think players like him stand out. They played a crucial role in the club's history.

I think we’re on the same wavelength, my team has players in it who were good in dour times for the team in general, as well as Taylor, I had Tony Finnigan who looked good for a spell at right back. I’ve Got Kevin Mabbutt who definitely stood out in amoung some shocking signings and Silkman and Harkouk from our 3rd division days
