Went by train yesterday (as for most games) from Coulsdon South as no trains from Upper W or Whyteleafe - what suprised me was that once we got to the stadium Southern Rail then cancelled the previously scheduled 17.01 & 1730 return trains, I ended up walking back to East Croydon, jumped into the Jury Inn hotel for a couple beers & then called the wife to come get me when the traffic died down a bit (so it wasn't a complete loss) Originally posted by Bexley Eagle
It added about 25 mins to my journey purely for parking further away. All in all a pretty depressing match day.

I was able to volunteer before kick-off yesterday for over two hours on Elm Park Road and saved many motorists from hundreds of pounds in fines for simply driving on the public roads they own. Unfortunately we will be unable to man these junctions 24/7 so it is up to visitors to the Selhurst Park area to look out for the blue rectangular warning signs.

Another total con from the council.

So does that mean that the restrictions apply permanently? I thought it was only match days? If it is 24/7 then that really is a f”cking joke.
