I think the Greeks are Olympic champions at that sport.

Yeh, but the italians are better at football.....

Ignoring simple rules is up there as a national sport for Italians, along with football and tax evasion.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

And the Greeks just bribe the referees or the other teams in their leagues.

Italian trains are generally very punctual, cheap and clean.

UK could do worse than implement the same mix of public and private that Italy has in the train system.

I'm there often. The trains are fine. If you want a good one - you pay for the express. If you're not so bothered about time and want to reminded of British or Irish rail, you buy the standard fare. As a tourist, a handy trick is to buy standard yet take the Express. Tell the inspector you speak no Italian but it's a beautiful, wonderful country. That'll usually work.
