She is indeed, pics and videos.

I might be out of line, but I'm sure there are other women in sport that are doing a hell of a lot of good and much more deserving.

Not sure I saw Leah campaigning before her nudes were all over the internet. But maybe people need a catalyst to start fighting for stuff.

Yep I agree.

I think my point was around whether this is what she is being 'recognised' for? May well not be, but if so, just another sorry state of affairs really.

That as it may or may not be she's a Palace player, and only that to me, so I of course would support her in anyway I could, footballing or otherwise. More a comment on the cultural, political and media environment these days which is dominated by failures and therefore hijacked and distorted for reality to be moulded so as not to just reflect their miserable lives, not a swipe at the individual in question.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

In these days of shared responsibilities there is an expectation that both will contribute. Do enjoy sandwich making (and eating - sadly we are not allowed to take sandwiches into Selhurst Park Stadium). Needed to be shown how to keep a Dyson vacuum cleaner filter in working order. Is cocktail mixing a male function?

Were you not aware of the Hol cave, created by the Webmaster as a last refuge for the remaining dinosaurs. I believe you can get a guided tour certain days, just like you could go and see the lunatics in Bedlam....

I think the attitudes of the past produced, in some instances, societies with better outcomes, than the enforced egalitarianism of today.

Males and females having clear roles actually worked out better for everybody. We certainly didn't have the confused youth of today, who are being told that their identity doesn't relate to their sex. I think surveys on individual happiness from the past to today bear out that the majority were happier in more traditional times....women especially.

I fully agree on the merit priciple....if a woman is bright and talented at something she should be able to compete against males in any field she chooses. I also think that the past is often lied about in this regard as Thatcher is stark proof that men also believed in that priciple....she simply wouldn't have arisen so quickly otherwise.

But as Thatcher believed herself the requirements of the field itself should not be altered to facilitate her. Despite initial statements that it wouldn't happen, it inevitably has in every field I can think of.

I was surprised about not being able to bring sandwiches into Selhurst, so I looked it up and according to the FAQs, you are:

Supporters are permitted to bring homemade picnic-style food into the stadium as well as one 500ml factory sealed bottle of soft drink/water.

Children’s refillable drink bottles and thermos flasks containing hot drinks will be permitted at the discretion of the safety officer, however outside catering is not allowed unless it has been purchased from the Fanzone

Unless you are following some other rules that don't allow you to bring them in. Like your mum said you can't or something.

Thanks - I will do a test next month. I have been asked by one gateman whether I had any food. Thanks for telling me that unopened water is allowed.

About time this rule was revised. I mean it’s not like they sell any food. Cardboard, maybe but nothing I’ve been fleeced for would be called food in my view.
