I understand that Wright and Gray are questionable as home grown players but it's a blurry line. Is Mitchell home grown? So I said pro debut. Which I think isn't the worst definition.

Could try your own definition and your own team choice. I wouldn't mind :-)

I thought Wright was Greenwich Borough, so not pro. Presumably semi-pro, if even that, these days. I don't remember him on loan anywhere before his first team debut but he could have been. This is all off of the top of my head, so could easily be wrong.

As one of the few mad enough to go home and away virtually every game in '85 when Ian Wright signed for us, I would refer to him as homegrown. The only team he had played any amount of games, before us, of any consequence was Ten-em-bee, who were a Sunday morning team in Downham!
Home grown goalie, John Jackson.
