I agree with Hudsoneagle and Offthefence that we are still hopeful of resigning CG either on a loan or a permanent deal. I think Doucoure is definitely a younger upgrade on Kouyate and although he can play like an attacking CM, that isn't his best position. If we don't get CG then the club may seek an alternative or switch to a plan B with another DM, releasing Doucoure to play further forward but I don't see this as the preferred option.
