Might be a long shot but maybe the Chelsea player we should be trying to get in on loan instead of dead ends like Gallagher or RLC.
He has openly stated he wants game time before the WC and it looks like he isn’t part of Tuchels’ plans. We definitely need an upgrade on Schlupp and he wants games.
Plus if we can get him here instead of him going to Manure then it helps in keeping them down the bottom!!!

Since they have sold players at a loss, not sure what the transfer fee would be. I'm thinking over 45 mil. However, I'm also thinking the 200k a week he'd want is out of the question for us. He'd have no shortage of suitors from what I've seen.

I don't see any benefit for us buying players from English Champions League squads, unless they're youth team graduates on their first pro contract. Their wages are immediately £100k+, and the only player who's ever justified that is Wilf. We have proven ourselves to achieve as much with Eze, Olise and others, as we did with Benteke and Sahko.

The only way we'd get him would be in a swap for Wilf, and that isn't going to happen.

What will happen with each of them, though, will be my sole transfer-related obsession until everything is settled in... January?
