Fair play to them. They discounted their game accidentally by 99.98% on an Indian website. People who got in at 5 rupees ( about 2p I think ) before the mistake was rectified have had an email from EA Stating that they will honour the sale as it was their fault. Don’t see this often and in reality they could have refunded and gone again. I’m not even cynical as they are minted and have a huge cash fund. Good on EA sports

What's EA Sports?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Under UK contract law I believe that they would have no choice but to honour the deal. Based on my law studies many years ago:

The website advert and price is the 'invitation to treat'
The customer placing the order is the 'offer'
The website processing the purchase is the 'acceptance' meaning a contract has been made.

I know not what the law is in India though.
