Klippity is still whinging about it in his presser . . .

"Of course we spoke to Darwin and he was very disappointed with himself. The things that the centre-half [Joachim Andersen] did, he's not the only player in the world doing these kinds of things.

Also not the only manager defending a player when he does something stupid and illegal. Fondly remember Wenger "losing his glasses" when an Arse player did the same. Coquelin was a prime example. Same old.

So, the ex liVARpool capt & now Villa Manager, Gerrard, has warned his players about Palace's use of the 'dark arts' . . . [Link]

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Oh my goodness.... "dark arts"? - he's not suggesting something like voodoo, juju, hoodoo or witchcraft is he?

Maybe the HF, sorry, singing section, could get some different drums in & beat a voodoo vibes as well as juju chanting, just a thought.

That article has a photo of Andersen, underneath which is the caption:

"Andersen was unjustifiably physical with Nunez all game until tempers boiled over at Anfield"

I'm sorry? "unjustifiably physical"? Whose words are these? Who has decreed that Andersen's play was "unjustifiable"? What the f*** is going on? If an Italian player puts himself about in a Euro final, or Sergio Ramos kicks and roughs up his opponent for 90 minutes, it's called a "defensive masterclass", but if someone playing for plucky old Palace "has a word" with an opponent (basically for being a c***), all of a sudden the rules of football have changed.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Really is ludicrous!

I have confidence but hope the fellas laugh it off as I did.
