Recently stayed in Whitby get past the goth thing and a really interesting town and amazing drive into it as you drop down to the coast across the Moors. If you like your beer a brewery in the shadow of the ruined abbey (with great wood fired pizza) makes for a relaxing brew with a view.

Great place, but looking a tad frayed round the edges now, but I loved the series and his Lotus 7. I dreamt of owning one since I was seventeen and eventually owned one for a few years.
