Far enough away from the 'touristica' places & a great little town

went there in the 80s.
Me & a mate drove up 'for something to do' one weekend.
very picturesque & if i remember correctly , mint cake?
there were a few other local buns / cakes but ive forgotten.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

2B blunt, what's the point in that place?

I'm sorry, but I draw the line at that comment.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Academics still argue whether Shakespeare used to write with a 2B or not 2B.

Yes KD, Kendal Mint Cake, also, 'K' Shoes.

Great place to visit (I'm biased, lived there for 8 years), Oxenholme is the mainline station(Euston to Glasgow), branch line, taxi, bus or walk.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Recently stayed in Whitby get past the goth thing and a really interesting town and amazing drive into it as you drop down to the coast across the Moors.

If you like your beer a brewery in the shadow of the ruined abbey (with great wood fired pizza) makes for a relaxing brew with a view.

been to Port Merion three times - where they made The Prisoner - the other side of Snowdonia, absolutely bonkers beautiful.

'I am not a number, I am a free man'. Great place, but looking a tad frayed round the edges now, but I loved the series and his Lotus 7. I dreamt of owning one since I was seventeen and eventually owned one for a few years.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
