I might be worried about his injury record, but he did manage 40 appearances across all competitions last season and 30 for Fulham the season before. good call. Definitely prefer a loan rather than a buy - probably couldn't afford him anyway!

They'll want to be getting rid of Barkley & Gilmour first.

Going further back, 2 cracking loan signings in Ashley Cole and Paul Stewart. As for a loan signing this season, there were rumours earlier this year about Sanson from Aston Villa. I wonder if they would let him go out on loan (with perhaps option to buy).

I tend to agree with the club that we don't need any extra cover at LB and it was right to send Tayo out on loan to a Championship team. If Tayo performs he'll be a genuine option for our 1st team next season especially if Mitchell continues to improves and is sold for a tidy sum.
