I have seen speculation that he is still injured or is leaving ? I am struggling to believe he would leave after less than 20 league starts (I would guess), but seriously worried as he looked so good last season. Has anyone heard anything concrete about what is going on, and if not, what does anyone think ? And are others as worried as me about his disappearance ?

Does seem very odd more detail has not been released but I suppose that is the way it works these days. The boy is a very special talent. He plays the game in a way that is unique. With a fair wind and barring injuries he will go a very long way. I could see him becoming a top top player. Just hope he is ok.

Lukey Bee tweeted a selfie with Olise very recently. He looks happy and is apparently mildly injured. We should be seeing him soon, I would guess as a final 20 minute sub in one of our first few matches before seing him start as a regular when improved and match-fit. Our squad is so good now I'm not overly concerned. Love our big squad! It means less playing pressure on individuals and therefore less injuries.

From what I saw of Ebiowei against Leeds, he seems to have an equally sweet left foot and a good ability to drift past people, although maybe not quite the acceleration of Olise (although that's hard to tell). He put in a couple of wicked free-kick crosses (much more pace and accuracy than Luka's) and his cross for Mitchell was inch perfect (won't mention the finish).

Can't see him starting, even when Olise is injured/not available. Same with Plange - another good addition and a bit different from our other strikers

I think you're spot on and we'll see a lot of Ayew again this season, more for his work-rate than anything else...or his sunny disposition! Looking forward to seeing Plange but wonder if he might go out on loan this season?
